A team of 46 professionals at the service of:

• Almost 10,000 patients followed in 2019 (+ 50% in 10 years)
• 50 new patients per month
• Or 4,453 consultations in 2018

Distribution of patients:

• As a function of diagnosis: Down syndrome (82%), other syndromes (18%)
• More than 250 different syndromes
• Geographic origin of the patients: 64% from Île-de-France (the Parisian region), 36% from French provinces and abroad
• Patient age: below 8 years (35%), between 8 and 35 years (42%), over 35 years (23%)

Research

The Institute is involved in 10 research programs, involving 337 patients in 2018. The biological resource center of the Institute, BioJeL, contained 6,492 biological resources as of December 31, 2018. The Institute produced 13 scientific publications in 2018.

Training

More than 800 people participated in the 12 training courses proposed in 2017-2018.
